Brokered on behalf of National A-1 Advertising, the domain poker.org was sold to PokerCompany.com for the sum of million. Prior to the sale of poker.org, the highest .org sale was 8,000 for engineering.org, followed by sex.org which sold for 1,400.

On a much, much bigger note though, this begs the question: if poker.org is worth M, then how much is wickedchopspoker.org worth? It’s got the word “poker” in it, plus it has two cool words preceeding it, “wicked” and “chops” (respectively). It’s also clear that .orgs are the new .coms. Dot-coms are so 1999. So you can buy a dot-com, which would be like buying a Pontiac Aztec, or you can buy the hot new .org, which would be like buying a 2010 Aston Martin fully equipped including a daily blowjob from Vikki Blows. The heavyset fellow she used to date is second overall at the PPPL4(TM).
Phil Laak won another heatTM of the PartyPoker Premier League IV. This means he’s won all three heats he’s played, effectively going back-to-back-to-backTM.
However, since we don’t understand the rules of this whole thing yet, he doesn’t exactly have a dominating point lead over David Benyamine, who he defeated heads-up en route to the aforementioned third heat win.
Laak’s win gives him 48 points to Benyamines 35 (see here), whatever that means. Doesn’t seem as dominating as someone who has won three heats, whatever they are worth, should have. You’d think after winning three heats, you’d have this thing sown up, right?
Anyway, we’re definitely heading down there tomorrow and will be on-hand for the final day on Thursday as well to make sense of it all.

In fact, the only pro that made a dent in isildur1’s bankroll during the session was Isaac Haxton, who posted a profit of around ,000 in NLH heads-up action. From there, isildur1 decimated Justin Bonomo’s bankroll for 7,515, and then took the aforementioned durrrr for around 2,000.
After getting in the positive against durrrr, isildur1 tried to switch games from PLO to NLH. This set off durrrr, who typed in the chat box:

Good stuff. Expect another flood of nosebleed action the next week until the NBC National Heads-Up Poker Championship.

While we’re not exactly detectives, we have watched enough Batman movies to know that if isildur1 logs a few hours of high-stakes action while Viktor Blom is playing the EPT Copenhagen event, that would probably put some rumors to rest. Anyway, needing a win and a win only to stay alive for the final table, Daniel Negreanu won the final heat of the PPPL4TM on Wednesday. However, he’s still not guaranteed a spot at the final table (seems like if you win a heat you should be allowed in, but whatever). Instead, he now has to play the spectacularly-breasted J.C. Tran in a best two-out-of-three heads-up match, winner advancing to the final table.
Wtf, right?
Roland de Wolfe and Ian Frazier have to play the same heads-up match format with the winner advancing as well.
Ok, we just don’t get it. But if they’re happy, we’re happy. Locked into the final table and not requiring a sudden-death heads-up match are Phil Laak, David Benyamine, Giovanni Safina, and Luke Schwartz. They’ll be competing for a first place prize of we have no idea.

David Benyamine’s dominance of the PPPL4(TM) at least gave us an excuse to post pics of his super-cute ex all week.
Ok, so apparently if you’re a point leader going into final table play at the PartyPoker Premier League IV, that means you get the most chips. That’s it. It’s not like your points carry over to the final table. To win the event itself, you still need to win your final table. Got it.
That’s bad news for Phil Laak. After nearly quintupling his career earnings by winning three heats for ,000 a piece, and taking the chip lead to the final table, he was the first to bow out of play.
In the end, David Benyamine devoured the competition, winning the PPPL4TM and engorging himself in the 0,000 first place prize. Benyamine ate up his opponents chips and literally picked the bones of his competitors. “Some” might say the chips at the table were a veritable all-you-can-eat buffet to Benyamine.
Seriously though, Benymamine = one of the best.
