MGM Resorts Chairman & CEO Jim Murren appeared on CNBC last Friday to discuss the potential impact of the Department of Justice flip-flop on the Wire Act, and in turn, online gaming.
His conclusion: Internet gaming is going to happen in the U.S. in 2012 at either the state or Federal level.
His opinion isn’t necessarily groundbreaking. Intrastate poker appears to be a lock to fire up in 2012. But Murren is among the highest profile gaming executives to make this proclamation.
